IKOS Corfu April 25

So as some might know IKOS resorts are not the cheapest resorts but they are up there with some of the top resorts around the world. we took a trip to IKOS Dassia https://ikosresorts.com/resorts/ikos-dassia/

Arriving into the airport if you book directly with IKOS you have transfers included its about a 30 minute drive.

The resort has two sides - we stayed in the quieter Sky side, both sides have dedicated spa and swimming pools with different restaurants in each side, they about 100 yards apart and a quick walk, or if you are really lazy you can wait for the many golf buggies that go between the two.

The resort itself lies along, and looks out on, a lovely beachside area with a promenade, not much else there apart from the hotel and the local shops and area, supermarket etc has seen better days.

                                                             Double room with Pool view

There are excursions that you can book, but make sure you take advantage of their free car hire for a day, when we went they were all Teslas, but I think they have gone over to electric minis now, you can also get a packed lunch to take with you, if you don't want to stop at a local taverna. ( make sure you look at this before you go as very often there is limited availibility and won't be available but this isn't clear from the information provided).

As with most hotels the staff make a difference, staff here were all very attentive and friendly, the Manager particularly, so when we discovered that our remote control was missing from the room and we requested it, a day later we still hadn't got it, and we went to the service desk, we were then personally approached by the Manager who apologised and gave us two free entries to the spa which was really nice, All through the rest of our break she constantly checked in with us checking if we were OK - if there's anything else we wanted, gave us a personal phone number even chatting around her own dogs and her experiences which was really nice, she was an ultimate professional and she did the IKOS brand real justice.

When we went to left she even came to say goodbye.

What I would say is IKOS isn't cheap and is probably aimed at the more discerning traveller, but if you want luxury and and high quality food and service  - go for it.

Would we go again = Yes they have lots of destinations, start saving !.
